On February 7, 1964 the Beatles landed in America with a Number One hit, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” On February 9, the Fab Four performed on the Ed Sullivan show and the world was never the same.
The Kent BeatleFest will be held on February 7-8, 2014 to mark the 50th Anniversary of Beatlemania. On Friday, February 7 enjoy FREE live Beatles music at a dozen downtown Kent establishments. On Saturday, February 8 Hard Day’s Night – one of the region’s top Beatle tribute bands – performs at the Kent Stage.
The Kent BeatleFest is produced by Crooked River Arts, best known for the annual Kent Blues Fest, held each July.
