Playing professionally since 1963, the Beatles were Ritch Underwood’s first musical love and remain his all-time favorite band to this day. Ritch’s musical pedigree in Kent is great, playing in house bands at storied venues like the Kove and JB’s in addition to a 6-month stint with Joe Walsh and The Measles. Monopoly was formed in 1971 and has been playing with Ritch at the helm ever since.
Bassist Steve Smith (New Decade) has been with Monopoly since 1979.
And no matter how obscure the Beatle song Ritch throws at him, drummer Erik Diaz (Bluestones/Jon Mosey Trio/Vibrogroove/too many others to mention) doesn’t miss a Ringo beat.
